Founded more than twenty years ago by a group of parents with a shared vision, Turlock Youth Performing Arts (TYPA) was created to bring quality musical theater education and engaging theatrical productions to our community's young performers. What began as a small community effort has blossomed into a thriving performing arts program, providing opportunities for children and teens in 3rd grade through high school to develop their talents, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and experience the joy of live theater.

Today, TYPA is proud to serve hundreds of families who share a passion for the performing arts and a desire to see young people flourish on and off the stage. We invite you to be part of our growing theater family! Whether you're interested in participating, volunteering, supporting our productions, or simply learning more about what we do, there is a place for you at TYPA.
