About TYPA

Turlock Youth Performing Arts (TYPA) was formed over twenty years ago by a group of parents looking for a musical theater program in our community that offered quality instruction and pleasing performances. TYPA has continued to grow and offers productions for children from ages 8 to 18. Our founding families were not alone in the desire to have children’s theater in our communities; now there are hundreds of families involved! If you wish to find out more about TYPA or help us in any way, we would be happy to have you join us!

Upcoming Junior Company Auditions for

Frozen

Turlock Youth Performing Arts Junior Company is excited to announce our upcoming auditions for Frozen! Auditions will be held November 17th at the Turlock Community Theatre and at a site to be determined on November 18th. This audition is open to children 8-14. They will read a scene excerpt and sing a song from the musical. We will post both on our website as auditions draw closer.

If the casting committee asks you to return for a Callback, that will be held on November 20th at the Turlock Community Theatre.

Please note that rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in January from 6:00-7:30. Tuition is for the entire program not per month and scholarships or payment plans are available.
